About
The power of a message
My first memory of political news is wiping down tables at the bagel shop where my dad worked, flipping between news channels and watching the people responsible for explaining the decisions of our elected officials.
I didn’t know what “political communications” meant yet. I just knew I was fascinated by the power of a message and the people trusted to deliver it. That curiosity has taken me from North Carolina politics to national television in New York City.
I’ve explored communications from nearly every angle: government, public affairs, brand marketing, political media and live television production. Across three internships with FOX News Media, I worked in brand marketing and supported production for two nationally televised primetime programs. In North Carolina, I’ve worked in communications at the General Assembly and in public affairs at UNC-Chapel Hill, translating complex issues into content designed to inform and engage.
I don’t want to master just one medium. I want to understand how ideas become messages, how messages reach audiences, and how great communicators earn people’s attention and trust.
He is one of those rare young people who makes a workplace better simply by being there.

Where I’ve worked
Television, government, public affairs, brand marketing and campaigns — each one taught me how research, writing, strategy and instinct come together when communicating to an audience.
